It's pretty easy to get around that actually.....

you could make them agree to term & conditions which state that you have the right to legal action (you can't get around that) for damages done to a website, unauthorized access, and whatever the heck else the Canadian legal system could have for them (im not familiar with Canadian laws [besides the obvious])
